baby growth calculator

WHO percentile charts · weight & height · newborn to 5 years · no sign-up
Enter 0 months for newborns. Add extra weeks if needed.
This calculator uses WHO Child Growth Standards. Percentiles are a screening tool — not a diagnosis. Consult your pediatrician for a complete health assessment. Premature babies should use corrected age.

3rd – 15th Low normal
15th – 85th Normal range
85th – 97th High normal
Above 97th Above normal

What is a growth percentile?

Shows how your baby compares to other babies of the same age and sex. The 50th percentile is the median — half of babies are above, half below. The 3rd to 97th range is considered normal.

WHO vs CDC charts

This calculator uses WHO standards, which are recommended worldwide for children under 2. The WHO charts are based on healthy breastfed infants from multiple countries.

FAQ

Is a low percentile bad?
Not necessarily. A consistent growth curve matters more than the number itself. Talk to your doctor if your baby crosses two major percentile lines up or down.
What about premature babies?
Use corrected age (due date to now) rather than birth date for babies born more than 2 weeks early, until about 2 years of age.
How accurate is this?
The LMS method used here is the same method used in WHO growth charts. Real clinical assessment also considers growth velocity over time.
Is my data stored?
No — everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved.
